Rally Car Paddock & Rally Stage Demonstration

The largest of our three categories will celebrate 70 years of worldwide rally sport, including cars that have competed in such legendary events as Monte Carlo, East African Safari, Thousand Lakes and Britain’s own RAC Rally.

Under the patronage of the Gage family, a committee of members of the International Rally Drivers Club will choose a selection of cars from modern-day World Rally Cars, through the omnipresent Subaru & Mitsubishi years, to the early days of the ‘Flying Finns’ in Mini Cooper, Saab and Escort.

Particular attention will be paid to our two home-grown World Champions: Colin McRae and Richard Burns. The Rally Paddock will invoke the sights and ambiance of a genuine ‘rally service area.’

Meanwhile, starting at the main gate the over 2-mile rally stage demonstration will see upwards of 90 rally cars at 30 second intervals, which will use estate roads then exit the park through the village and run along the chalk road before ending with a fantastic climb up to Firle Beacon.

Firle Place

Firle Place is an outstanding privately owned country house in Sussex that dates from the time of Henry VIII but was substantially remodelled in the 18th Century. The house, gardens and notable collection of works of art and porcelain are of national importance and will ensure a day to remember.

Family Zone

Featuring cars, fun fair rides, locally-sourced food and drink, entertainment and more.

Plenty to keep the kids entertained (including for little ones who don’t know their Audis from their Ferraris!) – whether it’s hopping on one of the fun fair rides, climbing aboard for a tank ride, or checking out Mr Bean’s Mini and the Robin Reliant from The Grand Tour TV show. If you’re itching to get behind the wheel there’s even a historic simulator, giving you a taste of what it’s like to drive a retro vehicle.

When the gang’s in need of a pitstop, refuel yourselves on the sprawling lawns with tasty locally-sourced food and drink – available throughout the weekend.

Saturday Party

Taking place at The Ram Public house this free to attend party will start following the days activity. Including DJ, food and music and everything needed to party into the night.

Supercar Paddock

This paddock will be set against the sweeping vista that is Firle Estate. With the very best of modern supercars displayed, including alternative power models.

Not only will these vehicles be on display, but they will also be demonstrated over a standing quarter-mile sprint course, utilising the Estate’s main driveway, four times a day, on both days. There will be 60 Supercars in the paddock, and cars will attempt the sprint course at 30-second intervals

Owners’ Clubs

One-make and supercar owners’ clubs are encouraged; they will have a prime parking spot alongside the course in Firle Park.

The special deal is for every car/driver booked, a free guest ticket will be provided. Any club booking over 20 cars will get one guaranteed place in the Supercar Sprint class (subject to complying with the rules of engagement).

Bo Peep Retro Display & Demonstration

The historic Bo Peep hill climb will be the basis of a selection of cars to represent the history and legacy of this iconic annual event.

Traditionally run on the Firle Estate, this year the 60th anniversary was celebrated.

Again, not only will we honour this landmark event by displaying the cars, but they will also be demonstrated over the same quarter-mile sprint course as the supercars. There will be 40 cars from the era, running on both the Sprint course.
